I've done illegal things that I would consider to be the worst things I've done. It's nice to know that they're in the past, but I do my best not to revisit them.

My skeletons aren't for display. But as for one of my lesser offenses...
I used to get picked on by a kid much larger than I was all through Jr High and High School. He would call me his friend but not really act the part. So I started a band and asked this guy to play bass for us just so that I could kick him out of the band and hold some power in a situation that was not being resolved in my favor. He was told he couldn't be in the band because we didn't agree with his behavior when nobody was watching. We made it clear that he shouldn't be around us anymore unless he got new friends and stopped partying. He was mad, I felt good and we never had to talk ever again. I got him in a way he could never get me. He would still punch me when I wasn't looking. But the difference now was that I could smile at him after he punched and he couldn't get under my skin. After a few of his sneak attacks, I had caused him to no longer punch me.

Many years ago at age 15 I had an affair with a married woman. She and her husband lived on this farm at the edge of town. She was 21 and a mother, and pretty and with my hormones I was doomed.
Later I got saved and after many years when I drive past that farm I feel a deep sense of shame and sadness. My walk with God has made sin so ugly.
