No it's not like that, I've been a christian for a while but I am wondering which denomination I should choose to live by.

Choose to live by the Bible. Labelling yourself as this or that shouldn't be priority until you have studied the Scriptures for yourself, and allowed the Holy Spirit to lead you in your decision.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15
