What's the Difference?

Sometimes people get jumped on for arguing points, though. And my learning style is a bit argumentative. Perhaps it's silly, but I'm vulnerable on this point.

Depends on how you are arguing the point. Are you arguing it from a standpoint of "Luther was wrong, it should be this" or are you arguing it from a "this doesn't make sense so how can I believe it standpoint"?

The key is presentation and respect. So long as you are respectful, those who are disrespectful to you only make themselves look bad. If you start the thread, just be sure to put a disclaimer that you're not debating points of the confession, but merely trying to understand them better.
