What's the difference between a Baptist and an Anabaptist?

It may be a big difference on a fundamental level. Anabpatists take the scriptures literally and hierarchically, seeing the New Testament as taking precedence over the Old. While one might say Baptists do also, the result is quite different, with Jesus' words about turning the other cheek (even selling your posessions in the case of some Anabpatists) being taken as literal commands. Salvation is not the primary focus of Anabaptism, following Jesus is. The "gospel" Anabaptists (historically) have followed is not on of personal salvation, but rather the "Good News of the Kingdom of God" that Jesus proclaimed in the New Testament.
