What's The Best Free Web Browser ?

I've decided I would probably be better off with another browser ( currently using Internet Explorer ) , which free browser would you recommend , and why ?

The fastest, most secure browser out there, period.

You can get the ad-sponsored version for free, or it costs like $40 to get the ad-less version registered.

I've never used Opera, but it is used by a lot of people.. you could also try firefox, its more suecure than IE, and has some nice features. http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

I just downloaded the Advant browser and I really like it. It's like IE, but it's a lot more secure from what I can tell. I'd give that a shot.

I used Avant for ages but recently switched to Maxthon. I like the extra features it has.

I just downloaded the Advant browser and I really like it. It's like IE, but it's a lot more secure from what I can tell. I'd give that a shot.

I've never tried any of those others, but I see no reason to. Free, expandable, secure, fast, and very easy to use. Plus it's got a sweet logo.

Yea , I meant " Best " in one's opinion based upon their experiences .

which free browser would you recommend , and why ?

As in , " I like organically grown golden delicious apples , they're the best , I've ever tasted " .

Currently giving Firefox a try , no worries so far , mate .

fyi, firebird was an old name for firefox.
