That's so very true. Luckily there is the a couple of window glasses between me and the view.

The sun coming up over the hilltops. A winter version of a hayfield with snow scattered around, bordered by a creek, with a pond on the small hill in the corner. Rabbits...deer...His everchanging(yet always beautiful) painting placed in my living room. I'm grateful He takes the time each day to bless me with such beauty.

A day of rain has dissolved the wintry landscape to its subterranean roots. Here and there, obstinate bergs of snow persist above the muddy landscape. All kinds of mud are here, stretches of wet mud, sticky mud, bogs of pine needles and dying grass, great puddles that in other contexts might have been taken for lakes. It is a world exposed, what the snow hides beneath its spotless facade. A friend trudges grudgingly past on the buried path, laundry basket in hand and emotions shown clearly on her face. She is hating the feel of the mud pulling against her boots, hating the rain that continues to fall, wondering why we can't have a laundry machine in our building. "Hello", I call through the open window. She nods, almost smiling, then continues her mournful journey.

Trees, grass, people, Postbox, Church, carpark&cars!, playpark, pre-school, subway, doctors surgery,Chinese takeaway, chemists, postoffice/newsagents,houses, Lamposts, roadsigns, clouds.And the local bus service that goes past every 10mins!!!!!
