My older son is "reading" his Bible in his bed. I'm so proud I don't think he really connects what the Bible is yet, but still. My younger son is becoming stronger and a bit more active. I don't feel him as much as my first because the placenta is in the front, so I really only feel him on the sides, top, and bottom of my belly rather than the front.

Son has had a bit of a cold / bug the last day or two, but seems to be doing better this evening, so that is a praise. My wife is asleep and I am happy she's getting some rest after a busy day. God is good.

I was shocked/surprised/delighted yesterday (Sunday) by my dear wife.

Our anniversary was earlier this month and my present (which I had ordered a month before) finally arrived on back order the end of last week. She was very pleased and appreciative.

It was sized for her right hand, a show off piece.

Earlier in our marriage we underwent a few rounds of counseling for various issues and one of the first things we had to read was "Five Love Languages" by Chapman. There is a questionnaire at the end to determine what your language is, and she came up negative (often happens in cases of childhood abuse). Over the years since then she has developed the language of Gifts. (lots of trial and error) So she was really delighted. I again apologized for the late arrival of her gift, and she was fine with it. In fact what shocked me with delight was after that apology, she picked up the catalog and said she was considering buying ME a ring - for no occasion but to say she loved me.

I like owls! I I became a fan of them when I watched a documentary on snowy owls, then shortly after found out that a lot of them would come pretty close to where I live for the winter. Then I went to look for them in my area, and was just amazed when I saw them. It's really something to see a snowy owl in person!

It's funny though, I had never heard of PJ masks, then all of a sudden a few CFers told me about it!

Now we have two married birds in the married section..... only one is married to a bull though..... I still think a Swan Bull baby would just be funny to see.
