  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Needing a new fridge because ours is going out... My work is now making hours 11a-7p... mine is affected some... thinking of reapplying to a previous place of employment again to try to make ends meet.

So far, I believe that is best to say. Just potential, or at best a schoolyard crush, just thinking she's all cute and wanting to find chances to talk with her and all (not many opportunities for that since we are not on the same crew at work, where we would otherwise be working together every day under normal circumstanceswhere no one is sick or on vacation or something). Nothing wrong with that, of course. Love has to start somewhere. Just saying, it would probably be unwise to go with full-on, indisputable crush at this point.

My pastor is even talking of maybe cancelling church on sundays and wednesday nights.

Do you know what? I'm about 90% sure that I had Corona back in late December. It was like a cold and a half. I had constant pressure on my chest like someone was sitting on me, and I had intermittent sinus aches (early morning, late night mainly. And between ibuprofen doses.)

I kinda' wrote it off, but now that I think about it, I was uncharacteristically hit for six and even felt the need to take a nap in the day. And I've had quinsy, bronchitis and all sorts of nasty things and worked through those.

I'm speculating, of course. I'm not brave enough or stupid enough to say categorically whether it was the dreaded virus or not, but the symptoms did line up to specification. (Still, I'd better play the game regardless.)

Watermelon Oreo, huh? I remember a while back, they were offering cash prizes for people who could come up with a new version of that cookie. I'm not sure if Watermelon Oreo was come up by that contest or not. But if so, at least it put some extra money in some peoples pocket. Lol Definitely not what I would have come up with though.

I was staying in a hotel in Brooklyn some years back and bought them from a store downstairs "I like watermelon" I said "and I like Oreo too - what can go wrong?"

To this day, I'm still upset. They were utterly disgusting.
