  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have wondered about that. It was also basically the reason I often referred to the main villain in our game for RPGM1 (the one I always used to talk about making in 2014 and 15 around here =P, although I have no bragging rights really in comparison to @Anthony7 when it comes to game creation), whom the heroes must fight against, as The Great Dragon. He was a usurper of the world who wanted to do with it as he pleased. And, well, it certainly wasn't with as benevolent intentions as God's obviously are for planet Earth in real life.

At an Astros game with Mama Knight and her friends right now. It has not begun yet, though.

Then later on today i intend to travel up to The Woodlands to hang out with two of my friends from RPGMaker Magazine to start a group Let's Play on a classic but seemingly little-known NES adventure game, Star Tropics 2: Zoda's Revenge, where protagonist Mike Jones (yes, his name is Mike Jones) must travel through time to battle the alien warlord Zoda in many forms for the restoration of his alien friend Mica's entire race. .... It's actually much more awesome than it might sound.

It looked like a grand slam just for a moment as the ball sailed through the air but a rogue Angel ... in the outfield =P ... intervened and caused the third out instead.
It would have been quite a sight otherwise.

That sad feeling when a video game is about to end.. and you try to prolong it by finishing all the secondary crap.. that just isn't as fun.. lol.

You know, naturally aside from the home run earlier my favorite part of this game so far is seeing the Astro girls. ^-^



But they keep running back and forth across a platform over the dugout cheering on the crowd every time the camera jumps over to them and I worry a bit that one of them is going to fall and hurt herself.

The Angels were being quite boring competition up until the 6th inning, then one finally hit a homerun and later pulled a double out on the Astros. I know I am not supposed to be cheering for the Angels, of course, but I was never exactly a sports fan to begin with, so I prefer to simply see an exciting match where the opposing team starts to make a comeback towards the end even if it means "my side" might end up losing. ^-^

Sorry, hope my play by plays here as the game goes on are not getting on anyone's nerves.
