This is my last post. I wish you well and heaven's best. May all your dreams come true and have the Lord's blessing upon them.
@SarahsKnight, May you find the apple of your eye and your days be filled with bliss.
God bless you friend. This is my last post. I wish you well and heaven's best. May all your dreams come true and have the Lord's blessing upon them.
@SarahsKnight, May you find the apple of your eye and your days be filled with bliss.
@Multifavs, May you find the courage to bless the world with your talent in the way God intended.
To one gone but not forgotten. I pray you have the peace and comfort you craved.
@public hermit, You have so much to give. I hope you remember that in dark times and leave your cave because you're needed.
@ReesePiece23, I hope you find the happiness you deserve and never stop painting and encouraging others to look beyond themselves to brighter shores. Maybe we'll cross paths in the future.
@Myles, You're a fount of wisdom that's sorely needed. I hope you put your thoughts on paper and share them with the world.
@.Mikha'el., The hard part is done. All you have to do is believe and take another step and you'll get there.
@Saucy, You're embarking on something wonderful. He chose you for a reason. Remember that when times are hard.
@DragonFox91, I'm proud of you. You keep trying and fighting. Every time you do it makes me smile. You'll find the one you seek. Trust the process.
And last but not least, what can I say @MehGuy, you've changed a lot from the person I messaged years ago with the catchy slogan. It's going to be okay. I wouldn't say it if I felt otherwise. The end result will surprise you. Don't fight it. Embrace the change. You've earned it. Be happy.

That would actually be wonderful.I wish there was good Bible talk discussion on the rest of the Boards, but it's all just theological arguing between denominations. I s/ start a thread on something........
Sorry, what I meant to say was...I wish there was good Bible talk discussion on the rest of the Boards, but it's all just theological arguing between denominations. I s/ start a thread on something........
I don't have any ideas, unfortunately. Just browsing the boards & the most active sections are the heated theology debate sections......Why aren't people posting testimonies? How they're doing in ministry? How they're seeing God work? What they're learning in the Bible? The good their church is doing? How they are seeing it grow? How they are impacting it? How people they're working on as a witness is going? I want to read how God is moving!Sorry, what I meant to say was...

I love you and your humorApparently, we haven't had our fill yet of the woes of dating. It's actually very interesting to see what Christians want to talk about. You'd think we'd have better conversations in here and actually discuss topics of some importance, but we can't get past the big three: men's height, women's age, and financial inequality. It's like the trinity in Singles lol.
A far better use of our time would be to encourage each other to be better Christians while we are all single and to help others who do struggle with loneliness by providing fellowship and friendship. But I'm sure by tomorrow, there will be a whole new crop of riveting and stimulating discussions about why men and women hate each other lol. Each thread teaches me something new and ridiculous that I hadn't considered beforeI'm considering starting my own parody threads just for a laugh. It's become so predictable.
I will miss you if you go, but I understand if you do. This site is a world away from where it was 10-15 years ago. Check in with me on FB now and then, okay?Thank you very much for the well wishes, @bèlla. I'm gonna go soon myself. Take care of yourself. All the best for your future endeavours.
Extremes are rarely wise, in almost any area of life.I hear that is a big problem, but personal experience, I tend to frequently see the opposite where Christians are told not to enjoy wealth, & to hate having money, to feel guilty over it, to hate their blessings, hate themselves for it, & to think God is cruel for allowing them to have wealth. It's very dangerous to go too opposite the other direction too
I agree. I dislike it too. It's materialism and a love of the worldExtremes are rarely wise, in almost any area of life.
I personally have not encountered people in my family or church who berate others for having money or enjoying what God's blessed them with.
It's just this... mindset I've been seeing in some people. It's almost like "the prosperity Gospel". It repulses me. If a Christian's primary focus or ambition or purpose is at all enmeshed with "get more money", something is broken.
