  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Woohoo! I just plowed into another car whilst exiting the parking lot at church today. I left my card on the car's windshield. Hopefully they call me soon. Otherwise I will have to drive back to the church office on Monday and inform them that I was the one who crashed them. I would've stayed around until they walked back to their car, but I had to be somewhere at a place after church that was time sensitive.

Kinda struggling today. Father's Day is so tough, but I try to focus on Father God more often to fill that massive hole in my life.

Quite an exodus our community has suffered lately ... Squeakers, Paulie, and now Miss Traveler ...

I hope they come back eventually, though, if perhaps we can be a positive spot in their lives in the future.

And still, please pray for Squeakers, everyone, as often as you can remember. She did not seem to be doing well at all her last days here.

I can see it.. riling up the crowd.. getting them to chant "where's John Candy!?!".. probably a rememberable slogan too.

People can graffiti buildings with the message too. A revolution will start.
