  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'll be honest, here. Just catching episodes of Fuller House (it's not great, but waaaaay funnier than its predecessor, probably because neither Dave Coulier or the Olson twins are present in this one), and the latest I just saw was this one where the middle son, Max, meets the daughter of one of his Mom's friends or something named Rose, and instantly falls in love. ... And it was freakin' adorable, their scenes together for the remainder of the episode.

First off, the girl playing Rose is cute as a button, and more importantly, the character of Max may only be 7 or 8 years old, but I have mad respect for this kid in the way he so easily fawned over his crush and wooed her over. If I was half this charming with the ladies, I'd have been taken and no longer single the very same day I first ever became Sarah's Knight. No lie. ^-^

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child.

But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.

You can’t have your head in the clouds when you see the handwriting on the wall. Many are asleep. They’re concerned about minor things and hell is breaking loose around them and they’re clueless. They hear what’s happening but can’t connect the dots.

Wisdom and prayer are your greatest assets.

I feel like I grew up with the Olsen twins. I saw a lot of their movies and shows back in the day. Maybe as an only child the thought of not just a sibling, but a twin, was fascinating to me. It's like having a sibling on another level.

Does anyone ever feel like their brain is just full of worthless information they don't need to know? I don't mean trivia necessarily, but just overloaded? Your brain must have thousands & thousands of cabinets w/ cabinets inside of those cabinets inside of those cabinets inside of those cabinets. & you can open & close whichever ones you want basically at any time (not perfectly but pretty good). I need a memory wipe or something! As I've said before, even the dumbest person in the world's knowledge is pretty mindboggling once you think about it. I don't think anyone is dumb. (unless they've had some sort of brain injury or medical diagnosis)

I remember all kinds of random unimportant details about things that have happened throughout my life. Sometimes it's fun to think about them and sometimes it's actually helpful. Of course, I wish I didn't remember some of the bad things and embarrassing things so well.

I've read that unlike a computer, our brains never run out of room for memories. Amazing! But having a good memory can be both good and bad.
