I don't know, it was so unexpected. I had pretty bad anxiety for a while afterwards. I don't always do very well when someone shows so much interest in me all at once in that way.So get in touch with him once you are available to hang out with him. It seems you are interested.

I just wish I knew how to respond in these situations, and I don't want to ever hurt someone or ever lead anybody on either. It's hard.

Sermon on the Mount (Matt. 5-7). It all boils down to the motive. If you genuinely wanted to bring joy to others while glorifying God in doing so, that would be pleasing to Him (1 Cor. 10:31, Gal. 5:22-23). If it was simply to boost your own image, then men's praise became your reward (James 4:6, John 12:42-43). Social media is today's version of this, and I admit, it's very addicting. We all need to be careful of this (1 Cor. 13:4, Rom. 3:23, 1 Thess. 4:9-12).
Like I said, I don't know your heart nor am I the Righteous Judge. This is why it's important to read, study, and know Scripture, daily. Doing so saved me much heartache, and refusing to do so only brought me more of it. God bless!
I managed to say no to working Saturday today.
I don't feel too bad about it, I'm like the only one who never takes any vacation days off and whatnot.
