To be fair, the first 15 or so years don't count. And even then, dating isn't really advisable until at least your early 20s. It might be more reasonable to say that you've lacked a partner for about 7-8. Although that may be a long time in dog years, it's not very long in the lifespan of a typical person.

The dating scene isn't great. More people are hooking up for flings, and fewer are getting married. That makes it harder for some to partners. Especially if you'd rather not settle for what is now the status quo.

Hopefully, this is encouraging rather than discouraging. There are still good ones out there.

Just got home from work. My dad is having another dizzy spell. Hopefully we can manage it without an ER trip this time. My mom has a doctor appointment, and my brothers are MIA, so I'm on my own taking care of my dad.

I've got him up and I made him soup and turned on Star Wars. Hopefully he'll keep getting better as the evening goes on.

That's good you got him something to eat and such!! Really hope he feels better!!

Was on double duty today again with my nephew and then my niece when I got home! Just put her to bed now. She had a fever earlier so still isn't feeling the best, but seemed a little better tonight at least.
