  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Mine came in when I was 17 and have had no issues with them. My dentist said "it might be better in the long run to whip those out" and just asked, why? They're perfectly healthy teeth.

So, yeah, if they come in, don't let your dentist have them.

I'm sorry you've started having pain from that, Jennie. ... But honestly, if it ends with your wisdom teeth having to be removed, you can always look forward to the next few days of being very pleasantly high on hydrocodon after the surgery.

Whoo! Interview is over. I fear this job may present the same kinds of problems that Nestle did for me, but perhaps with the experience behind me I can manage it better this time.

It is indeed! The sun is out (kinda, but I'll take what I can get. lol)

Prayers would be appreciated, my dad is looking to taper off of an anti-anxiety med that the doctors prescribed as a short term helper until he was stable.

Few nights ago, I saw a dream that I was visiting Bill and Hillary Clinton's house, and Bill and Hillary were very nice people in the dream.

If I was American, I would be tempted to think that the dream was a divine political guidance, but because I'm not, I must assume it to be simply a symptom of reading too much politics on CF...

I think it did. I didn't catch any reaction or vibes off of the guy that signaled a major goof on my part. Thank God he didn't ask me why I left my last job either, although to ensure I was being honest I did at least let on that it did not go perfectly for me at Nestle, and I made some mistakes. Because I personally really don't think you should pretend you absolutely never go wrong, especially if they ask you what you think a weakness of yours is. I made it clear, however, that I am an eager and inquisitive learner and I have a desire to do my best at my work in a lab. This is just as important as Nestle's purpose to help patients with medication; here at this next job I will be testing urine samples to determine if a patient of one of the lab's clients is taking well to a drug with their particular body chemistry, or if they are suffering an accidental overdose to the point of toxicity, etc.
