I don't like cauliflower because I don't think it tastes like much of anything.I just think it's a really, really boring vegetable.
They're making everything from it these days. If you're looking for carb-free foods, they make pizza crust, a version of mashed potatoes, breads, tortillas, pancakes, mac and cheese, and more from cauliflower.I don't like cauliflower because I don't think it tastes like much of anything.I just think it's a really, really boring vegetable.

That’s the look people give me if I order food somewhere and say “without veggies”.
I don't eat vegetables.So... I don't even know what cauliflower tastes like.
(I just realized I used the same smilies as you...)
Agreed. Although I dont really eat veggies cause I HAVE tried them and they are nasty. (Cauliflower included)That’s the look people give me if I order food somewhere and say “without veggies”.
On the keto diet, I can eat beef jerky as a snack. I eat bacon regularly.Agreed. Although I dont really eat veggies cause I HAVE tried them and they are nasty. (Cauliflower included)
Id LOVE to be able to salivate and think "Mmmmmm plant based food" and all because then it would make losing weight so much easier if I were to say...... desire the taste of a celery stick over say...... beef jerky...... I don't even have too many healthy snack options for work as I hate nuts....... the only nut I DO eat is a peanut.... which is actually a legume not a nut.
but alas most plants I eat make me respond with a:
What veggies did you like and dislike of those?Vegetables...out of the ten kinds I've tried, I liked seven of them and didn't like three of them. I like cauliflower, but only if it's raw and plain.
I like baby carrots and cauliflower raw and plain. I like green beans and sweet potatoes cooked and plain. I like corn cooked, it's good plain and not on the cob but I prefer it on the cob with a little bit of butter. I like celery raw but not so much plain...if I eat it I'll spread a peanut butter substitute on it. And I like potatoes but I've only had them mashed and in fries, if that counts. What veggies did you like and dislike of those?
Generally I think veggies are preferable raw over cooked.
The texture of cooked veggies disturbs me.
I really like raw carrots - as long as they are still moist.
Of cooked veggies.. I like corn on the cob. It's good with butter melted on it. Corn is fine in things too. I don't really notice it much then.
Cooked carrots are only edible if they are under cooked and still a bit hard. If they are soft...
I feel the same about sweet potato. But I've given sweet potato a number of chances. I thought maybe it's just the texture like raw carrots.. but I've tried sweet potato chips and fries and the texture is okay. I just don't like the flavor.
If potatoes count as a veggie though.... that is actually my top or second to top favorite food...
