On a other note.

I just caught M going into the fridge - it’s 2.45am here while holding his phone (watching Netflix) I said phone now. He gave it too me and as he was walking back to bed said, I am grounded aren’t I

Yeah you bet you are, phone taken now for a few days.

He has his phone in his room as a alarm

These days it's getting harder and harder to bust your kids. If he was born decades ago, he would have had to sneak his shows by watching his movies and shows on the television with the volume very low. If he was especially devious, it would have involved a VHS tape containing some naughty footage he swiped from his uncle's private collection.

Yep busted! I don’t think he got what he wanted out the fridge either.

Obviously I heard rustling in the kitchen as I went to the loo.

He did look pretty gutted to be caught.

I didn’t even say one word to him.

Phone was handed over right away

Isn't being very tired the next day punishment enough? Doesn't he have school or whatever? That's how I learned to correct my behavior when I was a kid and stayed up too late the previous night.

Hi Everyone! I'm still here I promise! lol

Everything is going good, I've just been busy lately. We're in the process of finding a contractor for our roof, and also working on our plumbing. Pray for us!

I know it's going to probably set me back 100 years but I'm going to say it anyhow: It's been really hard for my mom and I as women to get a decent person to help us out with our roof. They see a woman who's bent from back pain and a younger woman who's in a wheelchair and either we get over priced, or they act like they don't want to do the job, or they talk to us like we're stupid... like they can't tell us details because that might hurt our little brainies. lol

We're praying for the right person to come along to help. We're doing our part by looking and researching people, but it's still very difficult.

If I was a handyman who lived in your area, I would love to help you out in any way possible. A sweet, supportive person like yourself deserves it. I hope you find the right man to help you and your mother, God willing.

I used to read books by my dim nightlight so my mom wouldn’t catch me reading when lights were supposed to be out.

We were fortunate to have our roof redone by a contracor who attends our neighbors church. I think he was way more honest and hard working than a previous building contractor. Some people do shabby/lazy jobs and try to over charge.
I hope you guys can find someone honest.

I'm may have to be the one taking care of the house despite my own limitations and I ask for prayers for God to help me take care of my family. This next month or so is going to be a little rough and I hope God can grant me the patience and the ability to be able to take care of my parents.

Have you ever thought of making stuffed animals to donate to children's hospitals or Third World countries? I think you could really put your skills to use and be an effective way of serving God. I bet some children would love a customized stuffed animal from a talented person like yourself.

I have thought of doing that, but I still need to get to actually doing it. Great idea!
