  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It would have been more than a love triangle as the other detective was married. But I do not do love triangles, so if my subconscious was involved, all it was doing was trying to tell me what an idiot I was for picking two names that could be confused.

For me, probably early to mid-2000's. Definitely had some fun times growing up!
Listening to the original Pokemon theme always makes me nostalgic.

Haha, I was teasing. But seriously, love triangles are usually exhausting and just plain stupid. I've seldom appreciated a love triangle in any story I've read.

I cringe at the thought of music from the early 2000s. I honestly don't think it could have been worse. ...I think I'd rather listening someone playing spoons on their knee for the rest of my life than have to listen to music from the early 2000s.

I have a very diverse taste in music which explains why I always listen to mine with my headphones on.

It's not just the music from that era, it's also the movies, TV shows, video games, toys, fashion, and whatnot. I remember the times where I'd be playing the Sega Genesis on a bulky TV while sitting on the carpeted ground inside of a house built in the 1970's with my friends.

I know things weren't as perfect as we like to imagine them to be but they were still times we had before many of us developed a more cynical view of the world. Innocence is something you will eventually lose and never get back.
