  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Goodness. I don't need any help, lol. I've gone out for Greek food, Sushi, had a big French dinner complete with crepes, and had French toast for breakfast today.

OMM: I'm starting to think that maybe a job related to art wouldn't be the best option for me right now, since I don't quite seem to have the motivation I used to have to draw a lot. I think I enjoyed art more when I could get one or even multiple drawings done in one day and each one typically took me an hour or two, a little longer for a detailed one; instead of usually spending hours on it between two or more days, because each one typically takes four to six hours, even longer for a detailed one. Maybe it would be better to try exploring more options that I might enjoy.

There's a very short list of warming and uplifting songs I have grown to treasure over the years, that I can always refer back to on dark days if I still have the presence of mind and emotional stability to do so, in order to cheer back up. "I Am a Dreamer" from Cardcaptor Sakura is probably chief among them.

And on today, all this depressing talk of death (a family member I have admittedly not kept up with at all since high school, Aunt Shirley, died today ) and self-realization of my unacceptable past moments of hypocrisy and abrasiveness as a knight which I had mentioned in this thread earlier after hearing someone else speak that way (and then there's this nasty cough I have suffered most of the day, too :/ ), I have been so fortunate as to find this:


How can I not feel a smile coming again after hearing such a whimsical and endearing song, which captures the innocence and spirit of the anime it came from so well? And this is just an amateur cover of "I Am a Dreamer" on top of that. ^-^

Yes in a lot of allergy medicine, like benadryl, they have ingredients that help knock you out. I will take it sometimes just to help me sleep.
