It's all well and good being told that if it's in context and makes sense. Otherwise it's just a kick to the testicles - and a confusing one at that.

What about these dizzy spells? Are they stress induced?

It's the main reason why I am not comfortable being an evangelist. If I get any theology wrong, it will do more damage than it would solve.

I've been getting dizzy spells since late August. They can get bad enough for me to collapse to the floor as I did at work a couple times. Testing has been done and I had to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours. They found no problems with my heart and kidneys and I have no diabetes.

The specialist believes it's my medication that's causing it since I've been on it for 10 years now and I may not need as much anymore due to changing metabolism. We just lowered the dosage and I might be going through some withdrawal symptoms. When getting off the celexa a couple years ago, I went through a lot of mental stress. Getting off the Seroquel was a nightmare as I couldn't fall asleep until 6:00 AM on the first night and had flu-like symptoms for over a week afterwards. The current medication might be causing some of these current symptoms but it could very well be that I'm getting sick at this time.

It's going to be a bumpy ride but time will tell.

Waiting for my flight home- got a bag of pick your own gummies for dinner because I'm an adult. Got a fitness magazine too so it cancels out the gummies. (That's how it works, right?)

I used to always feel that way, too when people would say that to me.

Through my study of Scripture and much prayer, however I have come to realize that it's not so much our suffering that God takes pleasure in (He doesn't take pleasure in suffering at all in fact), but, rather, it's what that suffering teaches and produces in us. It produces a resoluteness and strength that we wouldn't have if we never suffered through any affliction or hardship.

And not only that, but as I'm fond of saying here, it's also beneficial to others because how can we truly help someone if we've never been through what they are experiencing? Our prime example is Christ. Two Scriptures I always like to remember are Hebrews 4:15, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses," and Isaiah 53:3, "He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief." He suffered immensely even unto death and it was all to the glory of God and to our spiritual benefit.

It's amazing, really when you think that even Christ suffered as we have and who better to go to for strength than Him? So, don't let what others say get you down. Go to Him for strength.

You know, I have been thinking about that lately. I have a friend here on this forum who suffered the same angry and depressed thinking I had these past few years. Normally I'm useless with advice but this one I was able to get through to and she seems to be going in the right direction now. Makes me think if God made me suffer all of these trials so I would be able to save at least one person's faith...

You can just not decorate the bottom of the tree. We have a dog at my moms, a big one, and we just leave the bottom decoration free.

I'm DONE with this company

I've had enough of putting my time in each day to try and improve and contribute to the business only to have some idiot take it back 3 steps every step you take forward

No matter how much dedication I could put into it

I have come to the conclusion it will change nothing

Because it is the people - it is attitude and mentality

This you will most likely never change

Especially when the boss is becoming one of them

It's time to take a risk and drastic action to change my situation

If I don't find something else, I will enroll myself into studies

I'm sick of wasting my life and time each day in such an unorganized company

My entire family was sick with influenza. not the best, but it was okay. Could have been a lot worse.

Finally saw coffee shop girl, but didn't get to talk to her. she was there, but heading out, chatting with some friends at the corner table. I didn't see her until I was going out the door. She waved at me as I passed, which surprised me she'd wave in front of her friends. I'm very anxious and frustrated. lol

On My Mind:

It's stuff like this that make me nostalgic for times I was never part of. I'm going to be honest here, I hope that God will take away all my illnesses, disabilities and weaknesses, remake me an incredibly capable person and allow me to be born in the 1870's, gain immortality at age 25 and let me experience history up until today. I love 20th century history and culture and I would love to experience all of this.

God probably won't grant me this and instead send my sorry hide to Heaven but I can always dream...
