  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have an interesting opportunity to jump ahead a few titles in my job..
Obviously that comes with a significant increase in pay, but also comes with a significant amount of responsibility and stress.

I think it is an opportunity I shouldn't pass up, but I am going to need to adapt my life-style to accommodate for the pressures.

Lord give me strength.

I dont have a problem with the dislike of Trump.

My problem is the fact that for every "Trump Hater" is someone acting like Hilary is a good alternative.

Trump and Hilary are tied for the worst possible choice for president award.


The truth is, no matter who wins the election. America loses.

On the bright side, at least they've FINALLY gotten past the same sex marriage debate. That got old in a hurry.


I read a post in Ethics and Morality the other day, where a member said "this is the age of the Anti-Christ". When you look at the current world today it's hard to disagree!

My internet provider messed up my internet bill. Said I haven't made payments the last 2/3 months and that I owe $280. I only kept 1 receipt and I'm not sure if it's the right one as this includes the installation fee. I don't have the money to pay it off, so I hope it gets fixed.

They told me they "might have put the payments into the wrong account". Not pleased.

Yeah that happened to my dad for 2 years. He threatened to change providers because they also said the same thing. My dad was all "No. This is your mistake and you've been doing this for 2 years and expect me to pay you what I do not owe you... Get this fixed or I'm switching."

They ended up giving my dad a discount lol!!

So are men just about the frumpy look this season or something?

I can't switch really I don't think, so I can't even play hardball with them (I don't lie almost ever either, if I lied I easily could play hardball and demand they fix things or else but yeah).

Guys seem to be more into a natural look now-a-days. I know a lot of my guy friends say that they don't like a girl with too much make-up on.

That is true. I've heard a lot of guys say that as well. I guess I thought I already had a pretty natural look. But hey, if they want less effort I am all too happy to oblige.

My Dad wouldn't allow me to watch The Power Rangers.

TMNT is not really part of my generation either, I just remember it being on TV. Lol.
