I'm thinking of finances for the school year and a possible back-up plan in case I don't get into the JET program next year.

I'm thinking about several things:

1. My job, and how I'm thankful for it.

2. 46% of Republicans in Mississippi think interracial dating should be illegal. That's scary. I'd like to say that widespread racism is a thing of the past, but apparently not.

3. Lady Gaga took a fall while performing the other night. Although I don't listen to her music, I'm impressed with how she didn't let the accident phase her. She got right back up, and kept performing. To that, I say good for her! Unfortunately, people are using this as an opportunity to say nasty things about her on YouTube. What's up with that? I don't understand the hate.

4. A smart phone is in my future. Should I go with an iPhone or an Android? I'm leaning toward the Android, but I'm basically the office Mac guy. Hmmm...

5. My main comic projects seems to have fallen by the wayside, but I refuse to let it die. I'm going to start working pages into my schedule. I could do the pencils during lunch, but I have to eat.

6. It's time for me to start selling things on Ebay. The shipping process looks somewhat daunting, especially for large items.

7. Depending on how I feel when I get home, I may have waffles with dinner.

I'm also a Mac kinda girl, but I went with the Android for cost (and iPhones weren't available at Verizon), and plus they seem to be having a lot of different issues with the iPhones.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy 550. I actually ordered it yesterday (online deal) and am anxiously awaiting its arrival

I'm surprised it's not listed as being that high in the population in general. The culture down here hasn't progressed as well as the rest of the country. It's just more hidden, but very much still here.

Agreed. Isn't that how the world is though. Gaga is one of a kind. I don't think we'll ever have another talent like her. I think the same about Eminem. I may not like his music, but I respect his talent. It's an art. There's a genius there that has to be respected.
