I was researching some pools recently and tend to read some of the reviews. Why? Eh, for farts and giggles. And sometimes, they're useful... sometimes. So, I was reading one where there was this woman complaining that the inflatable slide contraption was a bit on the unstable side.. that she had to make sure she held onto her infant daughter each time she climbed onto it... and I was like, 'Umm.... even if that thing were the most stable thing in the world, you're supposed to keep your eyes and sometimes even your hands on your little one(s) especially if your baby's small and there's water involved (hello?).' Where's Chris Rock when you need him? I just get sick of that though... people complaining that they can't leave their infants on a jumper or swing or whatever for "extended" periods of time all by themselves. UMMMM... I was so glad to see another mother make sense of it all by saying you can't just leave your son or daughter in one of those things because they weren't made for that purpose. They're meant to be play accessories, not babysitters. As parents, we're supposed to be the ones in charge of their safety, hello?

I had another observation, but I lost it. That's what I get for posting an annoyed post.

I just started a new blog, "Apocalypse a la Mode". I'm thinking that for all the writing I'm doing, I'm not seeing a whole lot of income for it, which is annoying. However, I also think that I might have an opportunity tomorrow for a part-time job. At this point, I'm not worried about the income as much I'm simply yearning for recognition and my own definition of success as a writer.

Also, my crush was supposed to be at Writers' Group tonight, and she wasn't there. Even though she couldn't care less about me, I hope she's alright.

My family. I miss them so much it hurts. I have no idea when I'll be able to make a trip back home to visit. It saddens me to my core.

I sort of miss mine too. I try to call everyday to talk for 10-20 minutes. I think it actually helps them more than me :p

Anyways, I am sorry you are hurting and saddened. I will make prayers for you!

Today is an odd day. Kind of in a 'aight' mood. I am good at masking things. Today just seems like a mundane day. I predict soon I will be looking somewhat decent to go to the pub. Have a good meal, get my typical beers. Come back home. And yeeea...that mundane loneliness I suppose is just creeping in a little more today than normal, but at least it isn't ruining a somewhat productive day at work and such.
