Beautiful weather is on my mind. I am soaking it up as much as I can. Pretty soon it will no longer be 85F with a cool constant breeze. It will quickly turn into the normal 100F plus 100% humidity with no breeze whatsoever causing everyone to have cabin fever with no cabin.

.... the dog face that is. She's so adorable.I like the fact she bays like a proper hound but looks like a rat dog. She's so cool. I can't wait to spend an entire 12 weeks with her. I can wait for this to be over, OVER.

Dummy me had made my facebook address to be facebook.com/first.surname. So, changing my name on there would be pointless, since FB is not allowing me to change the URL. Grrr.

I could just create a new page and shift everyone over to there, but that would be a lot of work and I think some people would be irritated with me. Of course, if they are that sore with me then I could just leave them behind. But the amount of work that would all take doesn't seem worth the little bit of extra privacy that I'd get. It would help if I would have been smart enough to not put my surname into my url.

This. Which is stupid, because I don't really have a reason to feel that way, aside from the fact that--yet again--I find it fun to go jumping on bear traps. I'm remembering how things were growing up with just me, my mom, and my brother and how hard things were sometimes. I'm thinking about mom working two jobs, and sometimes having no money and having to eateating crackers and ketchup, and how hard mom worked to make sure we could have a better life when she went back to school. I'm thinking about how I miss my mom back home.
