Once upon a time at Bible-study this guy was telling me about this girl he met the night before, he was kind of a loner and didn't get out much so I was really excited for him;
"Oh how nice" I said "Where did you meet here?"
"At the tavern"
"I didn't know you drank. Did you go to the Shamrock or the Apex?"
"Neither"
"Oh that's cool, what'd you guys do?"
"I saved her from a raptor"
....pause....
"You're talking about WOW aren't you?"
lol, I think about that every time someone is talking about video games and I don't realize it at first.

I've been thinking about my crush =(. Last night I had one of those awesome dreams then you wake up and realize it wasn't real and probably won't happen. I had a dream me and my crush got married and she got pregnant and we had a awesome baby......I know this may sound corny but in my dream when I heard we were having a baby I couldn't stop crying because I was so happy that I was getting to spend the rest of my life with the one girl I love most. Then I woke up and realized it was all just a dream and was sad and went and took my SAT and thats all that was all my mind. Then went to my churches missions conference where she was and barely even said hello. Its torture!!!!

After watching most of a hyper-critical, arrogant, and divisive video attacking pretty much any Christian outside of those that agreed with the person making it, I'm really reflecting on the many times I've let such an attitude consume me and the negative behavior it has inspired in me. I am sorry for the times I have shown it here.

I decided to tag along to a bar with the whole college-life scene today....

and it just seems like an entire generation is only concerned with getting drunk and sleeping around. Even those that initially seem like they would be smarter than that still do it.

They need to build that rocketship to Mars faster.

I'm thinking about how I miss Lent and Easter in San Antonio. It bothered me a bit last year, but it's strong this year. I think the problem is that San Antonio was so Catholic and this place is so Protestant. It's hard to describe. It's just in San Antonio you knew when Easter was coming and you saw it everywhere. I didn't realize how much a part of me Catholic culture was until I moved.

I think that Facebook was probably something that initially sounded like a good idea in the beginning... and the reason for its popularity is all well and good enough - for people to get and stay connected to one another and so on and so forth. But, I think along with the positive there is now a whole slew of negative. Like, people have become so passive-aggressive these days. And it's okay. You can talk crap about someone you have on Facebook but ever-so-vaguely. Still, they get the gist. Also, let's not even get into the whole privacy issue. Even with your settings on "For Your Eyes Only," let's not forget that Facebook possesses your information and can go about their own business (because it is literally a business) by collecting and sharing, if not simply "storing" your info. I don't know which of those annoys me more.

But, I like you, Facebook. You help me remember other people's birthdays because I suck as a human being.
