This was a study that really question what did I think of the church. When I started out I intended to find out what God said about me in scripture. After finding out and lots of research later my thinking was definitely a problem.And needed quite a bit of adjusting. The question to you does your thinking about your brothers and sister's in Christ need adjusting too.
Well I started this with all the negatives I had found in my experience with the church and what I hated.
Those who Insult the afflicted and the poor, busy bodies, people who cause strife,division and discord.
Those who play one christian against another. Mocking,scorn , smirks.
contentious, cruelty, sharp tongues, bitter, spiteful, arguing, arrogant and assumption maker's . Those who tear down others by words or deeds.
Liers, gossips, controlers, tale bearer's. Those who enjoy telling a victim slander that has been spoken against them.
Now wasn't that quite a list.
Now what was it that Jesus thought of my brothers and sisters and how was I to see them through the blood of Jesus on the cross.
I have cut the list for it is so long but this will give you a good idea.
Beyound reproach, good lily white, unblamable, free from guilt, faultless, harmless, good , free from evil and corruption , clean, innocent, respectable, unfallen above suspicion.
Respected, holy , sacred, consecrated, dedicated, welcome, appreciated.
apple of ones eye, honey adoration, excessive delight, lovable sweet, good.
Belonging to Jesus, paradise,off spring, elected, temple , true believer,novice, recruit, apprentice.
Permanet construction, dwelling habitation, home, place, residence of God.
Called, appointed, nominated to office or position by God.
God's investment, signet, ring, brilliant, splendor, glory, sparle, loved beyond price, heavy cost, dear, ardent, passionate, rapturous, devoted beloved, well loved, darling, precious, true love and much loved.
The question to you is: Do you see the church and think about the church as purely as Jesus does. ( Faith and Love.)
