  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I'd recommend Naruto and Rurouni Kenshin. Flame of Recca is really good too, but due to some of the content, I'm not sure if it would be a good one for you. You could give it a try though.

Someone said that Shonen Jump is edited. I've only seen ONE instance where there may have been editing (and it was dialogue). The Rurouni Kenshin manga is unedited as far as I know (it better be!). And the Naruto manga in Jump has more blood than the anime does.

Most of the stuff mentioned has been shonen. I like shoujo too, so here are some shoujo recomendations:

Kodocha (the entire manga has been released by Tokyopo, the rights to the anime were recently picked up by FUNimation)

Yu Watase's Fushigi Yugi, Ceres, and Alice 19th. Ceres is my favorite anime and manga, but it's pretty dark and violent and has semi-incest.

Fruits Basket. Really good anime and manga. The anime has been released on DVD by Funimation. It's on four DVDs, with 6-7 episodes on each DVD, so it's a good value. The manga is currently being released by Tokyopop.
