america's got some pretty wierd laws, i've had boyfriend 5/6 years older than me all my teenage, there was nothing wrong with it. think about all the blackmailing...Where did it say they were all gay ? Actually, I have always been offended that we use the term "Statuatory Rape" when a male has sex with an teenage (<18) female and we call it "molestation" when a male has sex with an teenage male (<18>). I consider both cases molestation and if society did also maybe we would not have so many underage pregnant women.
The law in Canada may still be that you can have sex as a minor/adult with another minor so long as the age difference is not more than two years.america's got some pretty wierd laws, i've had boyfriend 5/6 years older than me all my teenage, there was nothing wrong with it. think about all the blackmailing...
I posted prior that I do not believe anyone has any business helping/discussing with kids about sexual orinetation issues online, period.Hey, Robert, what if I were to tell the kid, that the psychological origins of being gay are still mostly unexplained, that he deserves to be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity, that people need to avoid showing him signs of unjust discrimination, that he should not feel guilt for what he cannot change but at age 14 he should strive for chastity, and above all that God's grace is freely given to him, despite what anyone else might have to say.
How would that answer suit you?

Isolation is not healthy. Being scared and confused with no one with which one feels safe to talk with can lead to self-destruction. Kids in this situation need someone to tell them that it will be okay.
You will, of course, prove where in this or any other thread discussing homosexuality over four years, anyone claiming to be a Christians has ever said someone should be told "do whatever feels good." Aren't you the member who was complaining about other people making false statements about what people's motives were?Minors should be advised to contact a professional counselor, or pastor, priest, rabbi, in their area. They should not be told do whatever feels good.
it makes no sense...[The law in Canada may still be that you can have sex as a minor/adult with another minor so long as the age difference is not more than two years.
But sex between males is illegal for anyone under the age of 21.
i cannot remember the source.
Anyway, I don't understand why this situation is only applied to gay male teens? Surely the same issues of online safety, and of morality, apply to straight teens and gay female teens?
You will explain who in any of these threads has said, "do whatever feels good," won't you? And not ask your teammates to censure me for having the temerity to expect an answer of you when you keep repeating it? Thanks for your expected response.Minors should be advised to contact a professional counselor, or pastor, priest, rabbi, in their area. They should not be told do whatever feels good.

because you don't refer someone in that situation to a website, even if it is the best website in the world.I thought that being gay was okay, and yet, even with gays voting in the poll, not one has voted to refer him to a gay WEBsite (13 votes in so far and only that option not voted on)?
I wonder why that is ? Is it that it (a gay WEBsite) honestly reflects the reality of the lifestyle ?
Oh, I thought it was because it is understood that gay WEBsites are dominated with topics about SEX and contain vulgar pornograghy.because you don't refer someone in that situation to a website, even if it is the best website in the world.

Are there any homosexuals in CF who could refer me to a gay WEB that does not have that content ?
I doubt it. But then again, I'm not a mod. I have posted gay oriented websites such as the ones you mentioned without getting in trouble before.Well, I'm not a homosexual, and I don't know of any "gay WEBs", but I could direct you to some gay-oriented websites that don't have pornography and aren't all about sex. Would I be violating any CF rules if I posted such sites?

Minors should have good guidance from mentors who know what they are talking about.Minors should be advised to contact a professional counselor, or pastor, priest, rabbi, in their area. They should not be told do whatever feels good.
