  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What would you do next????

Deep in the mountains a giant's stronghold lays. In this fortress an army is being formed. This army is intended to take over key cities and ports in Kruush. From these locations these giants can rule the continent and through contacts with other giants on other continents the world.

Players can intercept a coded letter, indicating a planned shipment of supplies. The giants are being helped by non-giants who look to gain from their efforts.

The party discovers the source of these supplies coming from several similar crimes that have been committed.

Local authorities are fearful of the criminals and therefore will not pursue them. The group must locate the ringleaders while stopping crimes in progress along the way. Eventually, they will find caravans of supplies. The choice is either a direct assault or an attempt to stop the supply trains.

Initially, N’yra will be hunting down a group of 4 human bandits that stole some raw materials from the nearby mining village of Tunga.

Tsubame is out checking her traps for hare, when she hears hushed voices and men running from one of them. She pursues knowing they stole her catch. During her pursuit a wolf runs past her tracking them men as well. Shortly after the wolf a Lupa passes her by. She catches up to them at the top of a hill looking down into a gully where the smell of wood smoke can be found. The bandits made camp and are preparing to cook the hare.

Tsubame readies her longbow and proceeds down the gully to confront the men. After conversing with them she accepts two silver pieces as payment for her lost catch, however it was a lure to draw her into the camp and into close combat where they hoped to surround her. As combat began she had her glaive in hand.

Combat ended with the wolf dragging back a dead bandit who tried to escape, the Lupa dragging back an unconscious bandit who tried to escape, and one bandit recovering from dying thanks to Tsubame and the only conscious bandit administering first aid.

After recovering that first night, the group sets off for Tsubame’s Village. They spend the night at the village and head off for Tunga the next day. When they reach Tunga they stop at the blacksmith to drop off the stolen ore. Claiming their reward, they are told about rumors that the Giants in the north are funding raids on the mines. They are advised to check into it. They go to the tavern to split their reward and rest.
