Since my boys are 17 and 18...this may still come true....

I would love to work with pregnant teens, 'street working' teens, troubled and in need of love (with no judgement) teen girls.... and I don't want to go to University to do this...I just want to do it because I've been there and cause it touches my heart so.

I used to do that, because I was a pregnant, unmarried teen myself. I worked with those girls and it was a real blessing. Yes, and those girls just want you to love on them. I know this is a 'what would you do', but I just had to share that. That was so big in my heart when I was in my twenties and thirties.

I would just like the chance to do it, ya know...full time, without the demands of kids and the 'running the household stuff'. To be able on the drop of a hat...reach out and be there.

Call me nuts for this one, if I could go back in time, be 18 again, do college again, I would become a forensic artist. The kind who does sketching, computer graphics and clay reconstruction of unknown victims and missing people.(I love doing art and science makes sense to me. Finally,I am not squeamish in any way, and the horror of what happens to unidentified victims would be far overridden by knowing I gave their families closure.)

Other things on the list include:

Becoming a Yoga instructor (but had you seen me in class today, you would know just what a pipe dream that one is.)

Being a pediatrician.

Owning a team of sleigh horses, and giving tourism sleigh rides on the Holidays somewhere in the rockies.

Becoming a world traveler who can speak at least 3 languages....none of which are related to the other in the least.

Knowing sign language so I could sign with kids like the little boy in my child's kindergarten class.

A race car driver. (Love speed.)

But, still my biggest passion would be to write.

Ok, really - I'd love to be able to make it on my own. Like you, I've had dreams in the journalism field. That was what I was going to school for until I got pregnant. Now I'd love to be able to afford to go to school for alternative medicine. I've taken some courses, but I can't afford to do the whole thing right now. And, as terrible as it sounds, I'd like to start over, find out who I was and THEN get married - like later in life. There, toots!!
