I find it hard in this time and age to understand what might be classified as sexually immoral. I mean, besides the obvious, but what about kissing? Passionately kissing? Holding your partner in a certain way like "spooning" or something? I know some people might say a kiss on the cheek and hand-holding is as far as you can go, while others think its fine to do anything as long as your clothes don't come off. Are there any verses in the Bible that clear any of this up?

I would say that anything that tempts you to go further or anything that makes you feel guilty. If you can't do it with a clear conscience before God then don't.

You also must take into account how you might be tempting him. Young men especially are easily excitable and while you may not be tempted to go further is he?

One of the things that I taught my girls when they were growing up, and it actually applies to all situations and choices, when in doubt don't.

Basically any sexual thought outside of the bounds of marriage. Jesus said that "whomsoever looks on a woman in lust, commits adultery." And Paul defines how to avoid sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 7 by every man having his own wife and every woman having her own husband.

This "Time and Age" doesn't mean SPIT Biblically. And the predominant "Social Opinion" about "Morality doesn't mean SPIT either.

Bottom line: if you have to ASK if something is alright to do, then you're NOT moving in FAITH, and whatever's NOT of faith is SIN. (Rom 14)

Since you asked, you already HAVE your answer.

1 Corinthians: 10. 13. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Sin does not just overwhelm your conviction, your heart of hearts knows what's right from wrong, and God's Word will not give you permission to sin.

All have sinned,so it's up to you to seek God's will in prayer.

We see that from the heart comes evil and sin. So the action of sexual immorality is simply the result of what comes from the heart. The real sin is having the desire of immorality in your heart.

See Matthew 5, Matthew 15, and Romans 1.

Sin comes from the heart when the heart is evil.

So the action of sexual immorality is simply the result of what comes from the heart. The real sin is having the desire of immorality in your heart.

This is not always true! Even Christians, especially teenagers and young adults, who love God and desire in their heart to always please Him sometimes find themselves committing a sexual sin in the spur–of–the–moment because they were not being sufficiently careful to avoid it. When such a thing occurs, the Christian needs to confess the sin to God, know that he or she is forgiven, and be more careful in the future. The Christian must always be careful because a temptation to sin may arise suddenly and compellingly without warning—and the consequence of committing the sin can be horrible and irreparable.

See Matthew 5, Matthew 15, and Romans 1.
Sin comes from the sinful nature, when a person is saved Jesus lives in their heart, sin and Jesus can not dwell in the Hollies of Hollies in this temple which is the heart. So sin then comes from the old self as Paul spoke of in Romans, that being the old sinful nature, or from sin its self. The saved person has already given their heart to Jesus and turned away from sin. So are we still guilty, no Because Jesus paid our debt, does that mean we can sin all we want, No because that is not a heart with Jesus in it. As Paul spoke I do what I hate, I understand him, I too hate sin yet I do it, why do I do what I hate, is what Paul asked, I to ask. Paul answer was it was sin living in him.

I smoke from time to time, now I hate smoking. Why do i do what I hate? Because of the addiction, which is a spirit or many. Now am I guilty sure because I could be tormented and just not do it an suffer great, but I give in from time to time. Jesus covered my guilty part, but Just as Eve was not the only guilty one, the serpent was too. So those spirits are guilty also. My debt is covered by Jesus, so what is left? The spirits guilt. Get it? Why do you think satan is in chains for a thousand years? Why do you think he is removed so he can never tempt the world again. From the very start it was not just us.That is humans with the problem.
