There are sooooooooooo many things I would ask God for but I guess just one of them would be for a closer walk with Him.

For a double cheeseburger, a chocolate shake, and a side of cheese tots.













But if I wasn't hungry I guess I'd ask Him to give me the evangelical gift to spread His Word effectively and peacefully. This I guess would also mean the gift of knowing perfect truth/theology...so I dont teach the wrong thing.

This is a tough question because everything is perfect and God already knows our needs and wants before we ask.
The only thing that would need change is ourselves.

The same thing I have been asking for the last year. To spare my father who is terminally ill with kidney cancer. I always end with "let thy will be done" though because his plans may not be the same as my hopes and wishes.

Do you think that is possible, for us to have perfection of character? I assume you mean here and now, but wouldn't that make us equal to God?

And I don't believe that this would make us equal to God. In fact, even Jesus said that we should be perfect even as our Father in heaven is perfect. Matt. 5:48

I realize there are these scriptures but why would God make us perfect? Even Adam and Eve were not perfect.

They weren't? Are you trying to say that God made an imperfect man and woman?

Can you support this from the scriptures, or is this just speculation?

And what do you suppose being created in the image of God means?
