How do you define a medical miracle vs. a statistically unlikely event? For instance a cancer going into remission is unlikely but a person who had a leg amputated having it instantly grow back after some prayers are said might be miraculous.
A plane on it's way to a crash being suspended in air a few feet off the ground giving rescuers time to evacuate all the folks on board. ...that would be pretty convincing. Considering tbe amount of prayers offered, it would have been nice to find all the passengers in the recently ferry crash alive, the Nigerian girls rescued and the missing plane located on an island surrounded by passengers noshing on coconuts.

Would ten verified medical miracles be enough or would you need 1,000 verified medical miracles?

What evidence would you need?
A proper definition of "the supernatural" would be a good first step which might prompt me to start considering claims about its existence, and what might count as evidence for it.
If you introduce a hypothesis and want it to be taken seriously you have to do your homework first.

People have different definitions of what supernatural is. Whatever floats their boat let that be their supernatural definition for this question.

Is there anything situation that you can think of that couldn't be explained as being natural?

Plenty, I have a wild imagination (first thing that came to mind was my arm spontaneously popping off, putting on a hat, doing a little dance, then reattaching to my body as if nothing happened. What, I'm weird.)

Maybe I read that question the wrong way. I thought he meant "any situation that's happened to you" that you wouldn't be able to attribute to natural causes.

The question was vague enough it could be interpreted multiple ways.

Something that no doubt happened and has zero natural explanations. Good luck finding such an occurrence.

No luck needed. Life is supernatural.

You interpreted my bad question the right way.

^_^ despite my dreamlike dancing hand weirdness example (it really wouldn't have to be that outrageous, it was just the first thing that popped into my head for some reason).

I appreciate that you were able to come up with something you think is supernatural. It seems like some people can't even do that.

That's because they are dead inside from years of being on here :p
You know, they have to question the question, they can't take that leap and just answer anymore, they get so wary, with all the trick questions and semantic games people play, I don't blame them.

I could name tons of different supernatural possibilities, a book that anyone could read, even if they were illiterate, a limb or even a finger growing back on a person, you know, anything that would be literally so improbable as to be impossible by any non supernatural means. And apparently my arm detaching from my body and doing a dance XD

What proof would you need to have, for you to believe a miracle happened? Would the statements of one doctor be enough or would you need statements from multiple doctors?

Such as a doctor writes that 2 weeks ago the person had no arm, but today the person has an arm.

X-rays and other medical records would do it, along with testimony from the family. Considering this circumstance shouldn't be hard to provide these, unless for some weird reason the family didn't want the records released.

I think Christians should get their miracles verified by doctors, so that it could help people believe in at least the supernatural. With all the claims I hear about people getting healed there should be some people who have gotten them medically verified.
