What will happen if, science runs across definitive proof of God?

What will happen if science someday runs across definitive proof of a God?, or a force that they find has a mind and a will, and is exerting that will in our world in measurable quantum ways? or something like that...

How would our world change if something like this happened?

God Bless!

This has already happened and, according to Yahweh, is intrinsic in Creation.

Their is already more than enough scientific proof for God, for me, in creation, in the world of the big and small, (say astrophysics and quantum theory) and I have my own personal experiencial proof, also...

But I'm talking about the kind of evidence that would get up in the most staunchest, most devout of all atheist or unbelievers faces and say "You can't deny this." Do you have any evidence or proof like that?

I believe it will be a future discovery...

God Bless!

I would say, these types of people are caught up in the same "victim" phenomenon, you were discussing the other day, just in the opposite direction.

...yes, I agree. Another good point! (But it sounds so much better coming from you than from me.)

I don´t think it would change much.

Yeah this is the proof we all have available according to Yahweh. Personal experential proof comes when we genuinely seek. ( Yahweh rewards those who seek Him )

When Jesus walked the Earth most people who saw Him (first hand) rejected Him. Is this what you mean ?

You can "believe" or say you believe in Christ, but not "worship" him...

It says "even the demons believe and tremble", but I think they refuse to worship is the difference, so likewise, it will be with people after there eye's are opened and it users in end-times.
Maybe you could clarify. Initially you seemed to be asking about just some sort of conscious force, and now you make it sound like you were asking about a force that is silently defined as being biblegod ("Christ", wants to be "worshipped", "him" etc.).

That this force wants to be worshipped hasn´t been part of the hypothetical.

Should be worshipped, is another way of putting it there are those who realize it "should be" worshipped, this should be knee jerk reaction to such information for believer's who are humble, we should celebrate and magnify God's greatness when we begin to realize that he is literally "in" everything that exists, we should be in awe of that...

God Bless!

You seem to be getting a little off your own topic.

I can't speak for others, but it would change me from being a non-believer to a believer.

It would cause what was previously thought to be supernatural to actually be part of the natural world.

And, how would that affect you?

Think it will happen in the future, or not?

It's hard to says what would happen without knowing what knowledge of 'God' we would have.

Do we just know that there's a very powerful, knowledgeable being around us? Or that is created the universe? Do we know what it wants, if anything?

If we don't know what it wants, theists will probably claim it's their God, and most atheists would either become religious or unconcerned theists.

If we know what it wants, then many will say we should do what God wants, but some (a small minority) will still be skeptical of the God, and say that we don't know if the God is moral, and a good authority.

----
Just after I lost faith, I would've been happy to have become religious again. Now I think I'd be much more likely to question the authority of God. Something being 'God' doesn't necessarily means it should be unquestionably followed... it may not be trustworthy.

:)

This is interesting considering the progression we ( humans ) have had away from the supernatural. We could say that we believe less in the supernatural now because we're more intelligent etc or we could say the opposite. Most non-religious ( if that's the right term ) supernatural believers today operate in secret.

It did do long ago, and continue to do so. They just ignore it. They call it quantum woo-woo.

I think nothing much would change. Scientists would discover some evidence that they couldn't refute, I'd imagine, but they'd just twist it around so that it would be made refutable. They'd object to whatever it was not because they doubt that it actually is God/evidence of God, but because they simply don't want it to be God.

When I say "they" I don't mean all scientists. I just assume that whatever it was that would be this "undeniable proof of God" wouldn't change much because there would inevitably be a bunch of people that wouldn't really want to believe.

I think that science would then begin it's search for the origins of such a being...begin to explore its limitations, abilities, etc. It would probably facilitate an entire branch of science being created for just such a being.

That's one of the beautiful things about science IMO, it never stops... never settles for "enough"....it just continues along endlessly pursuing new knowledge.
