What do you suppose you would teach? who would you be teaching?

Much of what I teach now, only in an after the fact manner. My fascination has always been with the spiritual war between God and Satan, and the battle for the souls of men down through history. Much of it includes discussions of end-times prophecy, which from eternity's perspective will finally be in past tense. But the body of Christ will never grow tired of hearing of the victories of our God and His people over the forces of the enemy. This would especially be helpful to the very young, and it is said there are multitudes of children being taught in Heaven, possibly because of abortion.

But I suppose my primary teachings would be on the subject of how we are all called to understand one another on a much deeper level than this business the church is currently operating in. Personalities vary greatly, and currently the church takes SO little account of this that it's no small wonder we can't get along as a body. This would be taught to everyone.

Those are just two examples. For the theologically deep, I would teach the mysteries of God. But that's more for your heavy theological types, and would deal more with revelations not widely known by the average believer.

Part of a teacher's job is also to be an eternal student, so I would likewise sit under the teachings of the greatest teachers in church history, not the least of which would be the apostle Paul.

Since the 'heaven' will be on this earth with Yeshua for a thousand years, and then on a changed and improved earth with Abba when everything is remade so that we are back on a more Eden-like place, life will be more-so...the same, but more-so! You have talents...Yeshua will use them, just as you are supposed to be using them now.

I want to do a lot of stuff I have never tried, and learn a lot of things, but I also want to do what I do best, and Yeshua will have no trouble finding me something that will suit me better than anything I could dream of...because he already has.

I write, I grow things, I study, I teach...all of which can be useful for an indefinite period of time in any place. I have, however, asked for a small farm...and people to teach or counsel...and all my animals, if it won't make things difficult, and the ability to have frequent BBQ's with all my friends, old and new...and...and...and...because eternity is delightfully long enough to do everything.

I believe Randy Alcorn to be one of the best sources I've seen. I would suggest reading with discretion as I don't believe all of his stuff is 100%, but I agree with him on most of the important things. I do personally believe it'll be a bit of both though. I think we'll be assigned a job, but that it'll be exactly what we would pick if it were up to us. As for right now in my limited view of this world I plan to stay doing what I do right now, but who knows but that there's something I'd enjoy even more. I guess we'll see, and I personally can't wait to find out alongside everyone else.

Ohhhhhhhh I have long wondered about this. And I know that God wants to hear me sing about Him and all the things He did that were so cool. I'll teach songs to a group of believers and angels, write their parts for them and bend David's ear to find out what instruments and Chord progressions God likes the best and oh I just cannot wait my friends

I have often wondered if any of our jokes humor God. Like word play and innocent humor intended to provoke laughter and joy. He has to. If we do, He does. Surely it's one of the things that make us part of His image. I hope you do get to be that

All Believers will have the same "jobs" in heaven as on planet earth. There our immortal spirits, unencumbered by Body/Soul, without a "sin nature", changed into
"spirit-bodies" which will bring GLORY TO GOD: praise, prayer, worship, thanksgiving, etc.

Worked with water for much of my life.
Maybe one of those beautiful ponds.
Or a nice river full of fish.
What exactly I do there I do not know.
But, it will be my best work ever.

I do not think there will be babies in heaven, because that concept is bound by the limitations of time. BUT, I imagine that God loves this response so much

If I get time off from work, then would like to design and build myself machines. Like for a hobby. Such as space craft. Never will have the opportunity to do that here on this earth.
