"We are the sum total of our experiences"!
Not a new idea with me. I did not originate it, but I do know it to be true.
So what does it mean to us as Christians?
Well, it means that when we enter a person's life, we have an definite and permanent affect on that life. It is therefore important that the effect we have is a positive and good one.
As Christians, we are told to love and pray for one another. If we do that we will have fulfilled our duty and obligation to one another.
In these forums, no matter the simplist prayer request, we all run to jump on and say, "I will keep you in my prayers"! Do we? Or did we lie?
No matter how well meaning, if we say we will, we need to do it. So if you are going to say it, you need to write it down on your permanent prayer list and that way you will do it. That way the effect you have on that life will be a positive one.
