Just curious as to what each of us do for a living?

I myself am working for a welding and fabrication company as their shipping and recieving clerk. I make sure finished product is loaded on the trucks and they given the correct paperwork. I also make sure that new material is ordered and delievered on time. Its an easy job, just sometimes tedious. Been doing it for about a month now.

I am a Systems Administrator for ESRI, the largest Geographic Information Systems in the world. I maintain and support the Techincal Support Department in both their business side operations and their operations side of operations which both encompass a variety of testing environments stemming from Linux, Windows, Unix (Solair, HP-UX, AIX), Tru64 etc, to all ranges of databases including Oracle, SQL, Informix, PostgreSQL, DB2, etc... I also maintain and manage their data farms and virtualization farms as well as over 300 testing environments.

As a consultant, I implement security, network, and network solutions for private firms.

Other than that, I am a really boring guy that wants to do bartending a few nights a week lol.

I'm a communications associate/communications officer. I coordinate the advertising function of a graduate business school which specialises in MBAs, professional development, consulting and training. I liaise with the media houses (print and electronic) both local and international to book ads. I follow through with payments when invoices come.
I’m the point of contact for the media.
I also design and populate the school's alumni newsletter.
I wrote the Corporate Style manual.
I also do graphic design and handle the administrative function of the Communications unit.

Added to that, I’m a student finishing my BA in Literatures in English with a minor in Psychology. I’m also doing a distance learning certificate in corporate events management.

Outside of work and school, I'm an artist. Which is also a job but I'm really passionate about that one
