Our first year stunk. My family worked over-time trying to destroy my marriage because they didn't like my choice of a husband. Hopefully you are liked by her family and she is liked by yours. That's always a plus. Our second year was worse. That's the year our first child was born. Lots of disagreements are to be had when children enter the picture even if you've discussed parenting in great detail before the marriage even occurs but you can work through it.
