What was the most tearful movie you saw?

Some movie about Anne Frank and some movie about Joan of Arc. They both made me cry.

i haven't read this whole thread so i may be repeating something someone else said but obviously "the Passion" made me bawl but "the notebook", wow, made me cry like a big ole baby. even hubby shed a couple tears during that one

The biggies are:

The Passion (I've only seen it once, I wasn't even a Christian and I had to force myself not to start wailing!! I'm gonna buy it and watch it one day when I'm home alone cuase I think it'll be an embarassing amount of tears!!)

A walk to Remember.. I saw it with 3 girlfriends, for the first half hour we were laughing, thinking it was going to be a stupid girly movie, none of us had any idea that it was sad! Needless to say we spent the rest of the night in floods of tears

Patch Adams (cried for 20mins after it finished)

Love, Actually (when she opens the present and it's the Joni Mitchell CD, not the necklace, and then she tries not to cry... )

I nod to every film above me,lol @ Clare. I really cried at the end of Return of The King(LOTR) and I couldn't control my tears at the Passion of the Christ either.

I'd have to say Crash when the Hispanic man is about to get shot and his little girl runs out to him because she has the "invisible, magic cape" that he gave her earlier in the movie so she can protect him. it broke my heart....

Imitation of Life with Lana Turner and Sandra Dee. A Douglas Sirk directed melodrama made in the 50's.

Crash, the new one. It was so sad because its so real, I felt for all the characters, especially the Cop,(even though he did bad things) but because of his Dad and their relationship. He loves his Dad so much and he was so hurt to have to see him suffer.
