What was the first car you drove..?

Mine was a 64 EH Holden 6 cylinder. Second hand price of $ 500..lol

Metal dashboard and 3 spead gearbox , you can see the gear handle just behind the steering wheel.

Mine was a '67 Buick Special (like the one in this internet pic), only the hardtop was white.
So my car was red and white. I thought it was pretty spiffy at the time! lol

It was a used car, and seems I paid around $500 for it also!
I remember distinctly that it had a manual choke.
(I recall having to mess with that choke often in the cold winter months!)

Oh wow what a machine!. You Americans always drove huge cars back then , and we Aussies called them yank tanks or gas guzzlers.
And thanks for reminding me about the choke , I had forgot about that. What a pain in the you know what they were.
