Hey all,
I have a weird question. So about 3-4 months after I came to Christ, I woke up one morning with a trembling in my legs. This wasn't like a physical trembling, my legs weren't trembling. But I could feel deep inside, a trembling.
So a few days later, I saw my uncle sitting on the couch watching tv, something about persecution in the Middle East. I went up to him and he was telling me about how people were getting killed and I said "yeah and Christians too." He's not a Christian though, yet he believes in God. I then said "well God has a plan and its unfolding." And at that exact moment I felt a wave move slowly throughout my body, from my feet towards my head. It was a very slow, warm wave and it caught me by surprise so intensely, that I turned around and stared at the window so my uncle wouldn't see my face. I must have looked like I just stood there somewhat in shock. Luckily, he was agreeing with me but still had his face towards the tv. I sort of just played it off like I didn't just have a weird experience. Then something told me to evangelize once this "wave" was complete.
Later that night I was laying on my mothers bed, half awake-half asleep, and I heard my own voice say "I am an evangelist." The trembling in my legs ceased.
The point of this thread is this: WHAT WAS THAT?
My question stems from myself attending a reformed church. I know reformed people who are amazing people but who don't have experience with this.
Yet, the way I came to Christ was through supernatural attacks. As an unbeliever, I was spiritually attacked for a few weeks until I realized God existed and I repented of my sins, accepting Jesus as my savior and lord.
Is there anyone who has experience with this? I would gladly appreciate it and look forward to it. It's been on my heart for some time now, yet no one I've spoken to can relate or knows what to think of it. Thank you for reading this post.
In Christ,
Ash
