Hey all,
I have a weird question. So about 3-4 months after I came to Christ, I woke up one morning with a trembling in my legs. This wasn't like a physical trembling, my legs weren't trembling. But I could feel deep inside, a trembling.
So a few days later, I saw my uncle sitting on the couch watching tv, something about persecution in the Middle East. I went up to him and he was telling me about how people were getting killed and I said "yeah and Christians too." He's not a Christian though, yet he believes in God. I then said "well God has a plan and its unfolding." And at that exact moment I felt a wave move slowly throughout my body, from my feet towards my head. It was a very slow, warm wave and it caught me by surprise so intensely, that I turned around and stared at the window so my uncle wouldn't see my face. I must have looked like I just stood there somewhat in shock. Luckily, he was agreeing with me but still had his face towards the tv. I sort of just played it off like I didn't just have a weird experience. Then something told me to evangelize once this "wave" was complete.
Later that night I was laying on my mothers bed, half awake-half asleep, and I heard my own voice say "I am an evangelist." The trembling in my legs ceased.

The point of this thread is this: WHAT WAS THAT?

My question stems from myself attending a reformed church. I know reformed people who are amazing people but who don't have experience with this.

Yet, the way I came to Christ was through supernatural attacks. As an unbeliever, I was spiritually attacked for a few weeks until I realized God existed and I repented of my sins, accepting Jesus as my savior and lord.

Is there anyone who has experience with this? I would gladly appreciate it and look forward to it. It's been on my heart for some time now, yet no one I've spoken to can relate or knows what to think of it. Thank you for reading this post.

In Christ,
Ash

If this is really what happened to you, you should feel blessed.

If this post is a hoax, beware of the anger of the Allmighty: God.

All our actions have consequences, so if you turned to the Lord, in your heart and mind, that was a sign that you are in the right road.

But that road to eternal salvation is going to be very NARROW.

Were you in the WIDE road? That road leads to perdition.

Now that you believe in Jesus, not about Jesus, get to know Him by reading, rereading, understanding and comprehending His Word: the bible.

Also very important, you have to DO the things that He teaches you.

Don't join a church, join an assembly or congregation that can help you understand the word. But if you have a brain and know how to use it, you can do it yourself by asking God to direct you.

You yourself is the church (ekklesia ) and the priest.

The church of today has been deceived by the enemy for over 1,700 years.

Tonight, get next to your bed, flat on the floor, your face facing the ground, dress in raggy clothes and put ash on your head, the pray to God with your heart and mind. First thank Him for what He has given you, second acknowledge that He is the Allmighty (praise) and then ask Him yo guide your life and trust in Him. He knows how to do it.

The Bible represents Him, so go to it and read it every day.

YOUR BROTHER IN CHRIST.

GLORY BE TO GOD.

ALLELUIA!!!

Why do you think you were experiencing supernatural attacks? Usually new Christians can't tell when this is the case, let alone non-Christians.

No one can tell you what it is with 100% certainty. You'd need to hunt for an answer yourself. I can say that the Holy Spirit touches a lot of people, some of them often, in tangible ways like that. So does Satan, and so do psychoses. Fortunately, how to respond is the same no matter which it was: seek Jesus for more understanding (and maybe a psychiatrist if you think that might apply). If you're not going to a church that accepts that God does those things, then you might need to look for another. Some of them call themselves Pentecostal, some call themselves charismatic, and many you can't tell by what they call themselves. But you need to ensure they are teaching Scripture correctly. You need to be studying the Bible yourself and asking God for help and you can expect to get it.

"yeah and Christians too." He's not a Christian though, yet he believes in God. I then said "well God has a plan and its unfolding."

When you spoke the black part, did you speak this in faith, hope, and love? Or did you speak it like doomsaying, or awe or fear?

This is basically how we tell whether the experience is from God. And if it was not said with faith, hope, and love, it is not God, BUT it still means you are probably an evangelist.

Satan will try to make us into a false version of whatever God called us to do. That your lost relative was in agreement with what you said, is also a bad sign, because he is a lost person... lost people usually do not agree with the word of God spoken.

So that black underlined part, what was it? Were you saying it in hope for all those people over there, that God has a plan for a future for that region? Or did you speak it like, "Wow, look at how terrible it is, this is the end-days, we got to go out and tell people, it's the end of the world!"

That is how you tell if it's from God or not.

Also, don't listen to naysayers about whether you are an evangelist or not. Every Christian was called to the ministry, but most were disobedient to the calling on their life and they sat in pews instead... and because they were disobedient they scoff and mock people who answer the calling of God on your life. Plug your ears and don't listen.

Listen to this instead, it will get you prepared:

When we do things like the bible's way of doing it, we have need for many evangelists in the kingdom, we need hundreds of thousands if not millions of them. But few are willing even though the harvest is ripe.

Hello thank you for responding. When I said the darkened quote I said it like it was just a bible fact. It was nothing out of fear but just seeing God's plans unfolding. It wasn't to scare him.
Thank you for your encouragement. I have struggled with this calling because I never dreamt of this for myself. I came to Christ while I was an acting major studying theatre in college. I have struggled with doubt with my calling because I haven't met anyone else with this similar experience.
But may I ask you to pray for me for more encouragement in this calling? I don't want to ignore it. Also if you have any more advice, I'd appreciate it. I will pray for it too and also any prayer requests for you my friend. I will watch the video when I get home tonight :)

Spiritual things from god are very, very, nice to have.
It makes the burden of finding faith much lighter, because you should sooner slap yourself than denying that something happened. It is a heavy mistake of people to refuse even these very spiritual things.

Realize that you should have a god given gift, and you would have a calling, and a destiny.
If he told you to evangelize then you should certainly do that.

To prepare yourself against any doubts, pray that the stone of stubbornness be loosed from your heart, and ask him to correct your path in any which way he desires, if you're ever lead astray.

He chooses means for correcting people, for me, if I refuse something he will give me a very heavy sleep until I do what I refused, because I don't want to be against his will, and he will keep me on track.

So pray that he keeps you on track in any which way he deems necessary, and that is my advice.

If he shows you something, you will need to praise and thank him. This stems from the book of Romans chapter 1, and you may learn much about the world from that one chapter alone.
