What video game would make a good movie?

Seriously, I'd say System Shock 2, Thief or Deus Ex. I'm thinking Van Damme would be great as J.C. Denton, Arnold as Herrman and....Halle Berry as Anna Navarre.

The problem with Video Game movies is they always look REALLY good on Paper. Then they are Box office bombs on release.

Take for example: Double Dragon (Which for some reason starred Scott Wolf from Party of 5), The First Resident Evil Movie, House of the Dead, and the All-Time Bomb - SUPER MARIO BROTHERS.

Oh yea. Van Damme has bad history with Video Game Movies. Remember Street Fighter: the Movie? That film was so bad it killed Raul Julia.

Although Resident Evil wasn't great, it wasn't a terrible movie either. Certainly not in the same category as Street Fighter and Mario Brothers. The other decent video game movie i can think of is Mortal Kombat (the first one).

Although FF:TSW may not have been as bad as some of those other movies (this is debatable), it was probably the biggest flop because people had much higher expectations and it had more to live up to.

Hmm... video game movies suck 95% of the time much like comic book movies. But if I *HAD* to pick one, it would probably be Chrono Trigger. Booyah
