  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like nearly all shooter games, first or third person. Usually they're part of an interesting story. You can be in battle durring WW2 or looking for revenge for someone who killed your family.

But of course we all play the different genres as long as the game is worth playing.

Admittedly I'm quite a shallow game player. I don't enjoy the likes of Fable et al because I'm just too impatient to get into a game in a slow and in-depth way. I can see the appeal of these kinds of games, but they do 'nuffin' for me.

I'm currently playing Crackdown and I enjoy the freedom this game allows the player to have. There's no linear structure and although a single player campaign has the potential to become boring, it does offer great co-op play.

To summarise: Give me a gun and a load of bad guys and I'm genuingly happy......:p

RPG mainly mmorpg. Like it for the depth and story. I like to quest a lot, epic quests are always the best of course. Basically I prefer perpetual worlds over games.

Second choice would be shooters but more along the line of virtual real-time battlefields. I play PlanetSide a lot which is a great mmofps, World War II Online is pretty good. I like them for the tactics no doubt. Other than that I also play BF1942 still since I like the WWII theme though the time limits gets annoying since it’s not an mmo. Still play Quake now and then too. Less on tactics for those (bf & Q) but generally still good fun.

FPS games mostly. Feel alot more like it's "down to me" in FPS then in other games, like it my reflexes and "aim" that does it rather then stats and lvls like in RPGs.

A big fan of RPGs aswell though but they normaly take to long and I have a hard time to keep going unless it really "sucks you in", Baldur's Gate 2 being my favorite but the Fallout and Knights of the Old Republic series arent far behind.

I like FPS and RPGs equally....its a cross between Half-life Weapons edition or Postal 2....OR for my RPGs its FF8 or Morrowind...

On a side note anyone who wants to play WE pm me because there are no servers except mine and we need to get this great game going... Its a mod for Half-life and you can run it on steam and the graphics are souped up TBH....just pm me about it if you are interested sorry if this is against the rules....though I dont know that it is....hmmm
