What to say?

I'm not sure what to say to people any more when they ask if we are having anymore children. The past couple of times I have burst into tears, most recently today. It hurts so bad. I am trying so hard to be Christlike in responding to people when they ask. Part of me wants to be snippy with them though. We've been trying for over 3 years now since our daughter was born. The doctor has told us there is no reason we are not conceiving. So I guess I'm just not sure what to say anymore.

We haven't been trying three years, but I understand! Seems like for as many people as what ask us that, it should be three years! My box is always open if you wanna talk...in the meantime, praying for you!

BTW...you have lost 31 lbs?? You are awesome! How do you do it?

Yes, I am doing the Atkins diet. I have been on it since October 9th. I am very creative in the kitchen, so I am able to have just about anything I crave that is high carb, just in a low carb version. I am determined to get to my goal weight, and stay there!

Awesome! Wanna share? I have really thought about doing Atkins...but I get tired of the same old junk all the time. Do you do your creative recipes yourself...or do you get them from somewhere? I'd be really interested in hearing....

I don't know.... people are so nosey, no matter what you're doing there's a question.... but mainly i wanted to say that you need to go see a NEW doctor after 3 years, they should be helping you more than this!! My SIL got pregnant right away with her first baby but they said everything was fine the second time when it wasn't happening but in the end they did give her something to help them conceive and she had twins.

we just say it's up to God, and tend to leave it at that. People assume because we're young and already have 2 that it's easy for us and we'll have tons of kids. But we're not doing fertility treatments again so we just say 2 is nice and it's up to God if we have any more. People just don't understand how painful that question can be...

Katakalupto. 3 years is a long time to wait. I pray that God comforts you and renews your joy, and blesses you when the time is right! And congrats on your weight loss!
