So after being seperated from my wife of 7 years for the last 10 months, she has finally served me divorce papers. since we have been seperated i've done nothing but try to save my marriage, but she is obviously set on putting an end to it. i am a very strong christian & divorce goes against everything I believe in ! We have 2 children together ages 5 and 1 & its already evident that its having negative affects on my oldest. At this point i dont know what to do? The pain just never seems to go away.Any thoughts?

I wish I had something to tell you that would make you feel better right away, but I don't. From my experience, and from reading other people's experiences, once these gears are put into motion, nothing seems to stop them.
I can only tell you what I've been told. I didn't want to hear it or believe it at first, but I've found that in the end, God is all that we have to hang onto. In His time, He will make things right, according to His will. This world is fallen and so are we. Until all things are made new, we will experience this pain and must learn to look to Him for comfort and guidance.
Above all else, dig into His word and pray. Sometimes it seems like that isn't doing much, but it is. Keep the faith...

It very hard to work on a relationship when you're the only one who seems to want to work it out. Be a man of God and a good influence and example for your kids. You can only control yourself, not what she does. Keep the faith.
