  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My gf is sick with pneumonia and had to go to the emergancy room last night. She is off work right now and kinda down. Well, I would just like to ask prayer for her first of all. But also it is a LDR so I can't be there for her. Any ideas on something I can do for her while she is sick?

Yeah, write her a letter or send her a card..... do you have access to her house? If you do why not make it look really pretty with candles and flowers and things for her to cheer her up when she gets back home...

Its amazing how happy a girl gets when her s/o makes a little bit of effort for her!

Love, hugs and prayers. She's in very safe hands

WELL, i know when i was in the hospital, and my boyfriend was gone, it was the hardest thing in the world...because more than i wanted my families comfort...i wanted him. He definitely made up for it though, he called me every second he possibly could...and just listened to me...and talked to me...i could barely talk...so it made it hard...he also sent me flowers...oodles and oodles of flowers  hehe, and...the nicest thing in the world...he called the hospital and had one of the nurses bring in a movie, and it was my FAVORITE movie of all time, and it was just great, cause he was thinking of ways to make me comfortable there...hehe, he also spent a lot of time praying for me...thats always nice...yah know
