..."what if God doesn't exist?"...

I think that is interesting question. What do you answer for that? What would change? Would you think that “love your neighbor as yourself” would not be good and right after that?

In my opinion people are too focused on question, does God exist. Of course, if He don’t, then we don’t get eternal life as the Bible tells, but what person really loses if he lives according to God’s will? In my opinion nothing, God’s will is good anyway.

Doubts are a natural outcome of us being finite creatures who know something of an infinite God. What we do need is sufficient confidence for what we do believe, and that is centred around the life, death and resurrection of Christ and a living relationship with Him.

I think having doubts, or questioning whether something is really true, is different from doubting, or acting in a way that demonstrates that you don't think it is true. This is much in the same way that saying that you have faith in someone is different from acting in a way that demonstrates that you trust them. Having doubts can be a good thing, because they lead us to investigate whether something is true, which can either reinforce a true belief or cause us to dismiss a false belief. The problem comes when we mistakenly reinforce a false belief or dismiss a true belief.
