When you are experiencing a time of suffering or waiting, what is the best thing to do? I pray and seek the LORD and ask His will to be done. This past week, I have had an eye disorder that has effectively incapacitated me...can barely see, constant pain, can't drive, can barely read..yet, I can pray and ask God to bring something good out of my suffering.

My brother in law is a preacher, and he was really concerned about my condition. Last Sunday, he told me he preached from Mark 8, verses 22-25, and specifically mentioned my eye disorder. At close of the service, he had an altar call, and he said the altar was full of folks praying for me. What a blessing it is to suffer for His sake.

Our sufferings sometimes draws others closer to Him. Right now, as I am typing this, my right eye is running water, and it burns, and the vision is blurred. Pray.

God bless you...Irvin:crossrc: :groupray:

Lifting you up even now, Irvin. :prayer:

God bless you that you are using this time to seek His face and draw nearer to Him. Isn't it wonderful how God turns everything around for the good of those who love Him?

I pray that you will heal very quickly, n hz name.

John 9:3-7 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When He had thus spoken, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, and said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. :amen:  :D

Irvin, I'm so sorry, bro. I'm sorry for your pain and suffering. But I'm grateful for your desire to bring others closer to the Lord. I'm praying the Lord will bless your spirit and heal your eye, and that He will be with you and bring a very special blessing into your life.

May your pain subside quickly.
