It is believed that the Wise Men traveled over 800 miles to pay tribute to Jesus. They discovered that his birth went unnoticed, and that he was from a poor family. Still they bowed down and worshiped him, and presented their gifts.
As they returned home, I am sure these men realized that this child would be more that just a political king. He was The King, a ruler who would bring hope and peace. Like the Wise Men, we can find Christ in the most unexpected places.
Sometimes it appears that our lives our falling apart, and then things just work out for the better. Looking back, we see that Christ was there even when we didnt notice. It was the same for the Wise Men.
It didnt matter to them that others didnt noticed or even believe. These men knew this child would one day do something special. Even today people mock Jesus and deny him. It really dont matter to me what others think.
Jesus is real and one day he will return and become The King.
