I dig flogging Molly. Here is some more Irish back at Ya.

At the risk of dating myself, I used to watch a TV show these guys had when I was a kid.

Their show was almost as popular as Ed Sullivan. ;) :) It was like Irish HeeHaw before HeeHaw ^_^.

Drunken Sailer - Irish Rovers

Listen to Nancy Wiskey a few times and it will stick on ya? :D

Something rather different. My fave Dylan tends to vary, but "Shelter From The Storm" is def. one of the best!

heh, i was just searching for Bob Dillan tabliture last night. I pulled out an old guitar, tried to tune it up as best i could with those old strings, minus the highest string. I was gonna just try to play some of the old rock songs i used to play, long long long ago. So i get it tuned up, put my hand on the fret board and nothing. lol I couldn't even remember one chord!

I've got on my list a bulb, guitar strings, pick and a chord chart. lol

I first heard this song when I was on a bus trip From Milan to Venice in Italy in March 1979. I was 15 and it was my first time in Europe, and all I thought at that time was 'man, they play weird music over here!'. I never thought I would hear that song again, cause I did not know what it was or who sang it, but the other day, came across it while watching a documentary about John Lennon and Yoko Ono. I played it for my wife and she though it was going to be a painful new wave song from the '70s, but when she watched it she said its not bad, and the tune is catchy.............check it out.

interesting.. sounds like the old punk rock. That song sounds really easy to play.

Over the weekend i figured out how to read music, which i think is awesome. Took me till last night to figure out how to relate a sheet of music to the guitar strings. Which is also absolutely awesome, i think. All i gotta do now is learn all the notes, which are alot, but it's fun.

I'm likeing the spanish acoustic tunes right now:

maybe tonight i can actually play the C chord? without the agonizing pain in my fingers... *slight over exageration*

Also figured out that if i had a piano, i could play that too.
